Acculine consultants worked with the team at Arcare to scope out the needs of the existing facility, approaching it as a challenge, with the #1 rule being to provide maximum protection with minimum aesthetic impact.

Arcare Aged Care is renowned for creating stunning architecturally designed living environments. Quite simply, they look beautiful, homely and luxurious.
However, they are not immune to the wear and tear that comes with large-scale pedestrian traffic, wheelchairs & walking frames and catering trolleys.
The first 2 sites completed were Glenhaven and Warriewood. This is the first of many Arcare sites and the results speak for themselves.
Acclimite Aluminium Stair Nosings with Carborundum Inserts are engineered for environments where maximum grip and durability are non-negotiable. The Carborundum insert is a hard-wearing abrasive material designed to provide superior slip resistance in high-traffic and high-risk areas, including wet or oily surfaces.
Rated P5, the highest classification for slip resistance, these inserts are ideal for compliance with AS 1428.1-2009 and meet the demands of commercial, public, and industrial spaces.
Beyond performance, the inserts are available in a range of colour options to support 30% luminance contrast requirements and complement a variety of design schemes. The textured surface delivers long-lasting performance without compromising the overall aesthetic of your stairway design.
