Bariatric Handrail
According to the (FGI) 2010 Guidelines, facility must now design for patients ranging in weight from 150kg up to 450kg. The Bariatric Handrail reduces the risk of obesity-related injuries due to inadequate handrail support. The returns and corners are designed to support 450kg when installed according to manufacturer guidelines.
SureContact
SureContact Handrails have an antimicrobial finish that inhibits the growth of mould and mildew. They have been proven to improve hygiene between cleaning and reduce the need for harsh bleach cleaning solutions. SureContact is available on the following handrails in any solid colour: 800, 910, 2000 and 1000.
Anti-Ligature Handrails**
Specifically designed for behavioural health units, our AntiLigature Continuous Mounting Bracket eliminates the gap between drywall and handrail along the entire length of the 800, 1000, 1100, 1200 and 3100 handrails.
